Box Office Revenues at Regal Top $10 Million Dollars
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.–(CRWENewswire)– Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE:RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, announced today that Regal�s advance ticket sales for �Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2� exceed $10 million dollars.
�Moviegoer interest is at a fever pitch for the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise. Regal patrons are so excited to see Harry Potter that they are placing ticket orders online and at the box office at a record pace exceeding $10 million dollars and still counting,� stated Greg Dunn, President and Chief Operating Officer for Regal Entertainment Group.
�Thanks to the expansion of digital cinema across our theatre circuit, Regal is able to be even more responsive in dedicating a greater number of screens to meet the demand. �Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2� opens Friday July 15, with fans lining up Thursday night for midnight shows. Moviegoers often come dressed as their favorite Harry Potter characters.
