Alcatel-Lucent shares are soaring after the company announced its fourth-quarter financial results. The company reported a 22.6% year-over-year increase in its fourth-quarter revenue to �4.86 billion. The company�s fourth-quarter gross margin came in at 36.2%. It posted adjusted operating income of �394 million.

Alcatel-Lucent is a Paris, France-based provider of products, solutions and transformation services offerings.

IPG Photonics Corporation (NASDAQ: IPGP) shares are seeing a huge rally in today�s trading. The stock reached a 52-week high of $47.50 in mid-day trading, and at last check, it was up 31.30% to $45.63, with volume up from daily average of 207,410 to 1.66 million.

IPG Photonics shares are soaring after the company announced its preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter of 2010. The company said that it expects fourth-quarter sales to be around $100 million, which is above its guidance range of $80 million -$86 million. The company expects fourth-quarter earnings per share to come in at $0.53-$0.56, which is again above the company�s previous guidance of $0.30-$0.35.

IPG Photonics is an Oxford, Massachusetts-based designer and manufacturer of a line of fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers for applications in a variety of markets.

SuccessFactors Inc. (NASDAQ: SFSF) shares are seeing a huge rally in today�s trading. The stock reached a 52-week high of $35.19 in mid-day trading, and at last check, it was up 14.88% to $34.58, with volume up from daily average of 1.06 million to 3.24 million.

SuccessFactors shares are rallying after the company announced record fourth-quarter financial results. The company reported a 46% increase in non-GAAP revenue in the fourth quarter of 2010. The company�s fourth-quarter billings hit an all-time high of $88.5 million, representing an increase of 41% on a year-over-year basis.

SuccessFactors is a San Mateo, California-based provider of cloud-based Business Execution Software solutions.
